About Us

A World of Difference is an international nonprofit organization founded in 2005 to aid women and children in southeast Asia, with a focus on art education, literacy, and health. Since 2008, we have collaborated with Colors of Cambodia in teaching introductory and advanced art skills to indigent youth. Thanks to our teachers and volunteers, Colors of Cambodia has inspired and educated thousands of children in the Siem Reap area.

In addition, we have partnered with Cambodian World Family on two health initiatives, the Women's Integrated Rural Development program and the Kids In Need of Dentistry (KIND) program. Over 1,400 children now have access to dental care and over 500 women annually receive literacy training.

A World of Difference recently launched new art programs in rural Maharashtra, India, and Tucson, Arizona. As we expand and grow, we have come to embrace the motto "Art Will Save the World." This is also the namesake of our recently launched e-commerce platform, The Art Will Save the World Shop, which offers works for sale by emerging artists and students around the world. New health and literacy programs are also underway in Nepal.
