Bill Gentry, our chairman, made two trips in 2017 to Maharashtra, India, over several days, visiting three different locations. A World of Difference is looking to build relationships and trust with schools outside Mumbai and Pune cities. We've traveled with the talented artist and teacher Vaibhav Shirolkar and visited Tamala Theur Primary School and the Sai Chitrakala Mahavidyalay College of Arts. At the "Sai Chitrakala" college, Bill taught an advanced class to over 40 soon-to-graduate art students.

A World of Difference's goal is to visit more rural schools where art education is nonexistent and build a long-term art education program for these schools, providing teaching, supplies, and mentoring.
