Art for and by the children of Cambodia
Founded in 2003, Colors of Cambodia began as a way of offering free art education and materials to the children of Siem Reap, Cambodia, and has since developed to encompass much more over time. Located in the heart of bustling Pub Street, we employ full-time Khmer teachers—themselves former students of the school—who teach in the gallery, as well as in local schools around Siem Reap and its outskirts.
We also host internationally renowned artists to conduct in-house workshops. There is a full-scale art gallery on site, featuring art by our students and teachers. All proceeds from sales go directly to assisting students and schools.
The mission of Colors of Cambodia is to offer time, materials, and a safe place for the children of Siem Reap. Here they learn how to recognize and develop their own artistic voice and unique style. In the process, students learn to see their art as both an expression of self and a future calling.
